Combining my love of nursing with education, I take a transformational approach to education. I combine didactic teaching with methods for organizing information for easy recall. I create a flexible and relaxed learning experience that is guided by the learner's desired areas of focus. I combine case studies with personal professional experiences that are applicable to the learning scenario. Working in both Nursing Professional Development and training of new graduate nurses, I am able to adapt to all learning levels and styles. My focus as a tutor is on LPN students and undergraduate RN students who need to reinforce their understanding of their curriculum in both the classroom and clinical settings.
