About Imogen

Hi! I'm Imogen, an A-Level Psychology student with a passion for learning and helping others succeed. Alongside my studies, I'm currently a black tag in Taekwondo and preparing for my black belt grading this December. This journey has taught me discipline, perseverance, and the importance of consistent effort - qualities I bring into my teaching. I want to teach GCSE Psychology because I believe every student deserves personalised support that makes learning easier and more enjoyable. I remember how challenging some topics were when I was preparing for my own exams, and I'm excited to help others overcome those hurdles with patience and clear explanations. Teaching allows me to share my knowledge, build confidence, and inspire a genuine interest in Psychology. Whether it's breaking down complex ideas or encouraging steady progress like in martial arts, I'm committed to helping you succeed in your studies and beyond.

About the lesson

As an A-Level Psychology Student, I bring both recent experience and a deep understanding of the subject to my tutoring sessions. I don't just teach you the content - I tailor my lessons to your unique learning styles, making complex ideas clear and accessible. My approach is personal and student-focused: - Relatable and Up-to-Date: Having just completed the OCR GCSE Psychology course myself, I know exactly what examiners expect and the best strategies to succeed. - Interactive Lessons: I use examples, discussions, and practical activities to make learning engaging, so you don't just memorise - you truly understand. - Patient and Supportive: Everyone learns differently. I take the time to identify your strengths and areas for improvement, adapting my teaching pace to suit you. - Exam Technique Focus: Beyond content, I help you develop skills in answering exam questions effectively, so you feel confident on test day. Whether you're struggling with tricky concepts or aiming for top grades, I'm here to guide you every step of the way with lessons designed just for you.
