I have taught across the university and college sector for over 30 years as a music lecturer. In addition, I have a been an active musician, recording and performing.
I can teach classical guitar and acoustic guitar, music theory and composition.

The style of teaching focuses on developing core musical skills, confidence and enjoyment. You will learn about music notation and theory, ear training and improvisation. My students regularly achieve merits and distinctions in public examinations, but you might just decide to learn for fun, or have dual lessons with a child!
