About Ellie
Learning languages can be quite intimidating! I was terrified in secondary school to speak French in front of my class or even with the French native speakers who came to help. I want to teach as I would like to help build the confidence in students to feel better when they are learning French and to feel proud of themselves when they understand something new. Even if a student just needs that little extra help with French. I had an amazing teacher in secondary school that turned learning French into a passion that I have now. I live in France, I speak French everyday and I want to be able to give confidence to new French learners.

My techniques for teaching are pupil-centric! I want the lessons to be as helpful as possible; therefore, the student has the choice about what they would like to discuss with me. Whether it is help with increasing confidence in speaking, going over grammar rules or going through in class homework, I will be able to meet the pupil's needs! If the pupil does not have any particular subjects of worry, I am able to create lesson plans and cover the language generally.
The typical length of the lesson would be an hour and I am willing to tutor pupils aged 11-16 who are studying French in secondary school.
