About Ollie
I am a senior English Major at the University of Rochester, where I am also on the Men's rowing team. I love working out, playing my guitar, and visiting my girlfriend.
Ever since I was a kid, I always loved reading/writing, and have found it extremely rewarding to teach others about my passion.

If you give a man fish, he eats for a day. If you teach him to fish, he eats for a lifetime. My goal is for all of my students to leave a session feeling like they not only learned something new, but learned HOW to learn more effectively far beyond the end of the lesson.
My lessons are based on active reading and comprehension of texts, and writing techniques that help students write more professionally, fluidly, and concisely.
My lessons are designed to fit the needs of each student in order to maximize lesson time.
I specialize in Middle School/High School age students looking to increase media comprehension and writing ability, or prep for standardized College Admissions Tests.
