My lessons are always tailored to the student's ability and are adapted to target weak points in your game. I am happy to teach younger children.
I offer my first lesson free, where we play a game for me to analyse where you could improve and then we discuss what aspects of the game we can go through in later lessons.
From there, each lesson is planned myself to target weak areas in your game. A typical lesson begins with me explaining the material; then we move onto the board to implement what we have learnt into in-game situations; then we go through feedback and either look at more advanced situations or analyse where we could improve.

I am 17 and studying to become a professor. I have a passion for both chess and for teaching; it brings me great joy to share my enthusiasm with my students.
I work well with younger students. Every child is different and learns differently; having taught myself chess from an early age I understand the particular styles of teaching to explain complex concepts in a way that is easy for children to understand.

Perfect! Peter has been teaching my son chess, lessons have been excellent keeping a child engaged and motivated is not easy but he has been great and I can see great improvements in a short period of time. Will plough on!
My son looks forward to his lesson each week and is really enjoying chess.
Tive várias aulas de inglês com o Peter e estou aprendendo muito mais rápido do que no curso da cultura inglesa.
Was very friendly and seemed to know a lot about the subject. Would recommend.
