About Henry
I have a passion for the English language and its literature which is reflected in my work. I really enjoy tutoring, because I know the one-to-one learning situation gives students the attention and focus which they need to improve, and which they cannot get in school. I am a parent, a published poet and occasional actor. PLEASE NOTE: I do not do trial lessons. Please trust my knowledge and experience.

I am patient, friendly and easy to get on with. I have always tried to make my lessons interesting, relevant and interactive. I tailor my teaching to the pupil and know that praise and encouragement are the keys to confidence and progress. A good sense of humour is vital, too.
