About Todd
As in-house counsel for over 15 years with international companies in the aviation, software, and postal services sectors, I have led complex negotiations in Europe, Russia, and the Middle East, and designed and delivered training programs in English and French. I am a qualified lawyer in Ontario (Canada) and Vermont (USA) and a Cambridge CELTA certified English teacher. French and English are my native languages, and I am fluent in German, so I can explain complex points in your language—but the focus will always remain on your English.

Do you have a specific English goal: a negotiation, a presentation, a job interview, or a move to an international position? I coach you on the exact English you need to achieve it. We can work on: – Negotiations: expressing disagreement tactfully while remaining firm – Presentations, meetings, and exchanges with international colleagues – Clear and professional emails and reports – Job interviews and preparation for an international position. My method: – Each session starts with what you need in your current work; no textbook exercises – If you wish, we work with your own documents: emails, presentations, contracts – I correct the truly important errors and explain why, so they don't happen again – Absolute confidentiality: everything you share with me – documents, information, and exchanges – remains strictly confidential. For professionals at level B1 and above (adults only). Online, or in person in Basel and upon request throughout Switzerland, including French-speaking Switzerland. Targeted coaching for a specific project or ongoing support. First lesson free: the initial 30-minute session is free. We'll discuss your objectives, I'll assess your English level, and we'll immediately begin working on a first topic. Tell me what challenge awaits you – together we'll create a clear plan.
