About Jyothi
I am a Carnatic musician and have passed the vidwat grade exam from Karnataka secondary board. I give musical concerts now and then. I am a student of Sangeetha Kalacharya Neela Ramgopal Bangalore. I am also an AIR artist of Mangalore station. Have been teaching Carnatic music for the last 16 years and have trained many students.

In the class, I will teach Carnatic music vocal for advanced, intermediate, and beginner students. I am very patient while teaching, correcting all the mistakes made by the students. I make sure that students are singing aligned with Shruthi and thala. I enjoy teaching music. I do give notations for the krithis or songs taught by me. The compositions I teach include trinities (Thyagaraja, Dikshitar, Shyama Shastri), Tamil composers, Dasara padas, Annamacharya, etc. Also, teach small bhajans for kids at the beginner level.

My daughter is learning Carnatic Music from Jyothi from past 1 year. She is a very learned and patient teacher with plenty of experience having taught Carnatic Music from past 15 years. Her method of teaching stressing gamaka is rare to find online. I highly recommend her.
She is an amazing teacher. She teaches with a lot of patience and makes sure you have learnt each kriti properly before going forward with the lessons. I have been learning from her for a year now. I highly recommend her if you are passionate about learning carnatic music!
