About Siya
I have been teaching English online since 2012. I've obtained a certificate in Teaching English as a Foreign language through i-to-i. This certificate has helped become familiar with methods to teach grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation. In addition to training on how to overcome cultural barriers and design lesson plans.
I am experienced in online teaching and have done well over 7000 lessons. I offer online private lessons (Exam preparation, Grammar lessons, Vocabulary lessons and Conversation classes.) I also correct written assignments. I deal with students with levels ranging from Beginner - Advanced (A1-C2).
Furthermore, growing up in South Africa where we have 11 official languages and second language speakers are prevalent, I have insight on how to deal with both cultural and language barriers and am patient and understanding.
