About Anthony
I am a highly experienced teacher, with more than thirteen years' experience of working in British secondary schools and more than four years’ experience of teaching globally online. I have received more than 500 five-star reviews on Outschool. I am also exceptionally highly qualified, with a first-class honours degree from a top British university, Manchester, and an M.A. (with distinction) and Ph.D. from another highly ranked institution, Leeds University. I am a licensed teacher in the UK (known in the UK as having “qualified teacher status”).

I offer a rich programme of literature and composition to students aged 10-13 around the world. Through the study, discussion and analysis of classic literature, and challenging composition tasks inspired by this, I will broaden your child’s knowledge and vocabulary to an exceptional degree. My students also memorise classic poetry, which is a hugely powerful way of boosting spoken English. If requested, I can also include a course of grammar instruction.
I have limited availability and I am selective about those whom I tutor. The first meeting will be about determining whether your child is a good fit for the challenging programme I offer.
Please note that I do not provide examination or test preparation tutoring. My classes are about enriching knowledge and vocabulary, which will naturally boost examination performance, but more importantly, will make your child more articulate, a better thinker, and more able to accomplish challenging intellectual tasks of any kind.
