About Amen
A high school student currently working towards university; English literature being one of my four A-levels and achieving a 9 (A*) in English language and literature. I have taught private academic classes before for elementary/primary students in groups as well as individuals and primarily still focus on younger learners aged 10+. Although I am a native English speaker,I have a conscious knowledge of English grammar and vocabulary and teaching.

My teaching method:
- divide sessions into parts in order to cover all the key elements of language learning e.g. vocabulary, grammar and comprehension.
- Utilising a specific theme/subject matter for each session to broaden vocabulary and comprehension.
- Assigning homework (catered to a workload suitable for you) to allow for knowledge to be transferred into tangible skill. (Always utilising videos,podcasts,articles quizzes etc)
- Will initiate conversation on current, fresh topics surrounding British culture
- Every few session there will be an ‘evaluation session’ where I will listen to the student’s concerns about the knowledge acquired over the past sessions and see where to improve.
- Occasionally set a writing/listening/speaking/reading task and give feedback - usually at the end of a theme/topic.
