About Juliette
I hold a French Baccalaureate from Lycée La Bruyère in Versailles, majoring in Classics. I also have a BA in Classics from King's College London and an MPhil in Classical Archaeology from the University of Oxford. I am now doing my PhD in Archaeology at Trinity College Dublin. I started tutoring during my first year of undergraduate studies and never stopped. I do enjoy learning and teaching languages and exchanging with my students on their interests. I also tailor my lessons around their interests and needs, including practical aspects to allow them to practise more easily and give them the tools to improve.

I am a native speaker but I know how important it is to adapt to my students' level. I always plan an assessment phase (no pressure at all!) just to adapt my teaching to my students, their level and expectations. I also take their preferences, if they have any, into account (e.g. specific subjects, if they prefer conversation or reading texts). I have been a tutor for more than five years and have taught subjects like Classics (Greek and Latin), English, French, and History at all levels. A lesson typically lasts an hour and I can provide additional support and resources if the student wants to practise outside of tutoring hours. I am also happy to organise mock exams, university interviews and help with applications (I have helped several of my students who are now studying at Cambridge and Oxford). I provide lessons for all levels, beginners to more experienced students who want to practise and improve their French.
