Duration : 10, 15, 20, 25, 30 hrs - Price : £499.00 - Place : Rushmere Saint Andrew (IP4 5PQ)The English Business group course can either be based on aiming for a recognized qualification e.g. Cambridge Business Certificate (BEC) available at three different levels [Preliminary, Vantage or Advanced] OR the course can generally be tailored according to the individual needs of a business. Export oriented companies would like their staff to communicate more fluent and without misunderstandings with overseas customers and partners such as distributors or dealers. Any mistakes based on language problems or misunderstandings can be costly for any business, FCMG, Capital Equipment or Service orientated. It is therefore prudent to provide staff with relevant training so that they are able to use all four language skills (reading, writing, speaking and listening) in a internationally acceptable or recognized level. Job titles may vary and my teaching experience includes training for International Customer Care Representatives, Export staff, Customer Service-, Logistic-, Distribution-, Sales and Marketing Managers or Company Directors.

Important to notice for all those aiming for a Business qualification is that students have existing English language skills of at least intermediate level.

A preparation course for the Cambridge Business Certificate BEC prepares for BEC Preliminary, BEC Vantage and BEC Advanced certificates. BEC is administered by Cambridge ESOL and exams can be taken at authorized Cambridge ESOL exam centers. More than 60,000 people take the BEC in over 50 countries every year. BEC scores are valid for life.

The BEC qualifications are linked to CEFR, the Common European Framework for Languages. Each level tests all four skills (reading, writing, speaking and listening) each of which makes up 25% of the total score. The materials used relate to the following topic areas:
