About Akash

Hi, I'm Akash, a Trinity Grade 6 certified keyboardist with over two years of teaching experience and experience performing live on stage. I teach Western keyboard and piano to children aged 5+, teenagers and adults, including complete beginners.

I work with students in India and abroad through personalised online lessons in English and Tamil. My approach is patient, practical and structured: I break each skill into manageable steps and help you build confidence at your own pace.

Whether you are starting from scratch, returning to music or helping your child discover an instrument, my aim is to make learning enjoyable while building a strong foundation in technique, rhythm, chords and musical understanding.

About the lesson

I teach one-to-one Western keyboard and piano lessons online in English or Tamil. I offer slots between 8 AM and 4 PM India time (IST). For families in Singapore and Malaysia, that’s 10:30 AM to 6:30 PM local time. Children aged 5+, teenagers and adult beginners are welcome.

In the free first class, we’ll choose a starting point together. If you’re new to the keyboard, I’ll help you find the keys and try a simple melody. If you already play, bring a piece you enjoy so we can work on your next step.

In regular lessons, we warm up, revisit what you practised and work on a song a few bars at a time. Along the way, you’ll learn to read notes, keep a steady beat, play chords and coordinate both hands. You’ll leave each lesson knowing exactly what to practise.

You’ll need a keyboard or piano, an internet connection and a camera angled towards your hands and keys. Message me with your time zone and preferred days so we can find a slot.
