About Merve Janset
As a Year 13 student who has just finished her exams, I understand how stressful and overwhelming revision can sometimes feel.
However, Sociology has always been one of my favourite subjects, and my passion for it has made studying much more enjoyable. I am friendly, approachable, and patient, and I aim to create a relaxed learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and building their confidence.
Having recently been through the exam process myself, I can also share helpful revision tips and techniques that I found effective.

Having studied Sociology for two years, I have developed a strong understanding of the importance of personalised lesson plans. As a result, I tailor my teaching approach to meet the individual needs and learning style of each student.
A typical lesson lasts between 45 minutes and one hour and includes reviewing topics the student finds challenging, teaching effective exam techniques, and completing exam-style practice questions to build confidence and improve performance.
