About David
I sat my Grade 8 piano aged 15 and since that time have constantly been involved in music, playing in bands, teaching, musical theatre and writing and performing including up to the present day with my group The Shining Levels. I'm currently a self-employed music tutor in schools teaching guitar and ukulele, I also work for a local college delivering two separate music courses and have been a personal music tutor for decades.

Everyone is individual and my strength is finding what works best for you. For example you may wish to learn how to play the piano but don't want to learn how to read music, great, there are other ways! Perhaps your wish is to play guitar and sing, or you prefer the step by step approach of a graded exam. It all works and I'm a believer in any of these ways. My lessons are typically 30 minutes but can be longer if you wish. I have been tutoring since I was 17, shortly after this I completed a BTEC National Diploma in Performing Arts and Popular Music and as a mature student I received a BA Hons Degree in Music in 2011.
