About Lumi
I am a patient Spanish tutor with over 2 years of experience. I hold an MA in Spanish for the Professions with a Legal and Medical focus. Many of my students are retirees exploring a new intellectual hobby. I teach slowly and clearly. No one feels rushed.
We work on practical conversation first. Cultural topics and history bring context to the language. I include light reading passages for interest and memory practice. Corrections are kind and helpful. Students always feel supported.
Lessons build confidence gradually. Curiosity is encouraged. I want learning to feel refreshing and rewarding. Spanish can bring lifelong joy and connection.
