I like to meet my pupils before I start teaching them. In this meeting I would go over the current materials they are studying in class and ask them what they hope to achieve at the end of the year. A pass paper would be given to them in order for me to assess their current level, from there I can identify what work needs to be done for them to reach their goal. I would go over one topic at a time whilst testing them on previous topics covered. Every month a mini test will be given to the pupils to see if progress is being made.
