About Matthew

I have a Ph.D. in Chemistry (Organic Chemistry) and B.S. in Biochemistry from California. I am tutoring full-time. I tutor remotely via Zoom. I have a dedicated computer and tablet for giving presentations and handwriting at the same time while tutoring.

Lessons are 1 hour long and my rate includes the time I spend replying to your questions on-demand outside of tutoring hours and preparing a structured session with you. I have taught all levels of university level chemistry from introductory chemistry to advanced organic chemistry.

Matthew identified where I needed the most help and I learned a lot more in the hour of tutoring than hours of studying by myself. He was quick to reply to me when I was stuck on homeworks. Thank you!

Matthew is an incredible tutor that goes above and beyond his role as just a chemistry tutor. I would not have passed any of the Organic Chemistry series if it wasn’t for his willingness and commitment in helping me succeed. He always explained everything in depth and related difficult chemistry topics to medicine and everyday concepts. I thoroughly recommend Matt to anyone who wants to do well in Chemistry.
