About Joan
I like to get students engaged in activities as much as possible, so I try to provide a variety of different activities and different learning methods for them to choose from and go with. I provide worksheets and quizzes for practice, and flashcards to aid their learning. Notes are also provided to students who need them. Not only do I ensure that students are familiar with the content that they're learning, but also that they have a good technique to tackle any upcoming assessments or exams.

For the last 4 years, I have been working as a tutor, conducting lessons both online and in-person. I myself have had first-hand experience with the IGCSE and IB curriculums as I studied them in high school, but I've also had experience teaching students studying ATAR, NCEA and at a university level. I am currently employed with an online company, Bibo, that offers English lessons to non-native speakers around the world. This has enabled me to interact with people of all ages and of different backgrounds. I have also worked for multiple tutoring companies around the world, such as TutorOcean and TutorMe.
