I believe every student has the ability to become a confident trumpet player with the right guidance and encouragement. As a qualified trumpet tutor, I combine proven teaching methods with personalised coaching to help students build excellent technique and lasting confidence.
My lessons are carefully planned to suit each learner's needs, covering everything from breathing techniques and embouchure development to advanced musicianship, improvisation, and performance preparation.
I create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, exploring new musical ideas, and achieving their personal goals through consistent practice and positive motivation.

Learning the trumpet should be enjoyable, rewarding, and inspiring. My lessons combine strong technical foundations with practical performance skills to help students become confident musicians. Beginners learn correct posture, breathing exercises, embouchure formation, note reading, rhythm, scales, articulation, and tone production through structured lessons that make learning easy and engaging.
Intermediate students focus on flexibility, endurance, phrasing, dynamics, sight reading, technical studies, and musical interpretation while expanding their repertoire. Advanced students receive specialised coaching in orchestral excerpts, solo literature, jazz improvisation, ensemble performance, advanced articulation, range development, and audition preparation.
I also incorporate music theory, ear training, listening skills, practice techniques, and performance psychology to help students become well-rounded musicians. Every lesson is carefully adapted to each student's learning style, musical interests, and long-term goals. Students receive clear explanations, regular feedback, and customised practice routines that encourage steady improvement. Whether you want to perform confidently on stage, prepare for examinations, or simply enjoy playing your favourite music, I will guide you through every step with patience, professionalism, and enthusiasm.
