About Koni
As a violin tutor with 14+ years of experience, I have successfully taught around 300 students from beginner to intermediate levels. I teach students from high school, college, and adults, helping them build strong musical skills.
I follow a simple and practical teaching approach. I focus on basics like hand position, bow control, and sound quality. I also include practice routines that help students improve steadily. One of my proud achievements is helping students overcome challenges and enjoy playing the violin. My goal is to make every lesson easy to understand and useful for long-term progress.

My violin teaching approach emphasises clear communication, adaptability, and practical learning. I tailor lessons to each student’s learning style, whether visual, auditory, or hands-on, to ensure they understand techniques and musical concepts effectively.
I focus on foundational skills such as posture, bowing technique, finger placement, intonation, and tone production, while also encouraging creativity and personal expression. I incorporate real-life examples like learning favourite songs, performing for friends or family, and understanding music’s emotional impact to make lessons meaningful.
Alongside violin, I teach music theory, rhythm exercises, ear training, sight-reading, and basic piano skills to develop well-rounded musicianship. My goal is to create a supportive and inspiring learning environment where students gain confidence, enjoy steady progress, and build a lifelong love for music.
