About Todd
I'm open minded and explorative musically, and my ultimate goal is simply to spread my love for music through teaching, performing and composing to as wide a radius as is possible. I take pride in my teaching and playing as a drummer and musician and hope to spread my passion for all types of music to a wide range of students.

I believe that playing a listening are at the heart of becoming a virtuosic musician, and my teaching is based around ensuring my students are knowledgeable and practical in their abilities, able to listen to a song and play it independently, and to improvise proficiently in order to successfully play under any circumstances and with any musicians. I'm very happy to teach you through the grades, as I believe this sets out an efficient and well structured progression, but will also avoid doing any grades, should you not be interested. My methodology as a teacher is just to get you playing, learning and having fun in a number of different ways, because from my experience that's the best way to not only become the best musician you can be but also to get the most out of your time behind the drums. I typically teach in 30 or 60 minute lessons, but can be flexible with this if needed.
