About Carol
Over 15 years of teaching experience both in the classroom and 1-2-1. I have taught at Pates Grammar School, Kings Gloucester and Cheltenham College. As a private tutor I achieve consistently high grades at GCSE and A level. I am an examiner for OCR and WJEC and also write study guides for Zigzag Education to accompany the Latin and Greek literature texts for A level and GCSE.

I love 1-2-1 teaching: it is great to build a rapport with the student and give them personalised feedback and encouragement. With enough time everyone can flourish and my results reflect that. I try to modify my teaching to suit the age and interest of the student and have a wide range of books at my disposal. I teach all ages and all levels.
