About Francesca
I started my educational career at The University of Oxford, Exeter College, where I studied English Language and Literature. I love all things Tolkien, so choose that College because he studied there. I even ended up with his old room in my third year!
During my studies I was involved in teaching English in Hong Kong, as well as tutoring students in preparation for their Oxford interviews.
Since my graduation I went on to study the Graduate Diploma in Law at City University and then continued my education at BPP University where I received my BPTC. I was called to the Bar of England and Wales in 2021. Since then, I have returned to City University as a Visiting Lecturer where I have taught Property Law and Public Law.
I have been involved in education, both as a teacher and student, for many years. I am able to guide students successfully to achieve better grades and this is primarily done by personalised teaching that suits the idiosyncrasies of each, individual student.

My teachinOxford tailored teaching of English Literature and Language, with a focus on essay structure and literary theories to strengthen marks. I have a background in teaching English abroad, including in Hong Kong. My legal background also assists in teaching students how to develop a concise approach to essay writing.
In respect to the law, my background at the Bar and as a Visiting Lecturer at The City University of Law enables me to break down complex legal ideas and simplify them for students, so that they are able to approach their exams with confidence.
