About Ashley
I graduated from the University of Oxford in 2014 with a 1st in English language and literature. My tutoring career started in 2015 and continues today.
I have tutored over 25 students, ranging from SATs to A-Level. I've extensive knowledge of major school curriculums, mark schemes and assessment indicators. Ultimately, I know how to raise grades.
In my professional life, I've worked in numerous PR and marketing agencies across the North West. That said, I'm familiar with how to communicate accessibly and with authority - whether that's at work or in an academic setting.

My teaching method is very cooperative. I acknowledge I am the expert on academic topics, but put a student's individual way of learning above and over any cookie-cutter formula.
Furthermore, I set tasks, assign additional reading, use video content to bolster learning, and encourage students to email me throughout the week.
Overall, I am informed but informal - a combination that many past students have found beneficial.
