Hi, my name is Lucy! I’m an Oxford University graduate excited to help your child with A-level and GCSE Fine Art. With a diploma in teaching and previous tutoring experience, I am here to help you or your child get the grades they need at GCSE. Having received the very top grades in Art at both GCSE (9) and A-Level (A*), I can’t wait to help your child achieve the same!

Having recieved 96% for my Fine Art A-Level, I have a deep understanding of the marking criteria for Art and the skills you need to develop to get your best grade. Often students struggle with hitting the assessment criteria not because of their practical ability to produce artwork, but their ability to analyse and show their process in their sketchbook, which teachers often forget to teach. In our sessions, we will discuss your ideas and inspirations each week, and I will help you to develop the written, analytical skills to annotate your sketchbook in a way that hits the assessment criteria!
For A-Level Artists, we will also look at the Extended Essay portion of the syllabus. I will teach you to apply these skills in written art analysis to achieve a top mark.
I have flexible availability
- available 7 days a week and will work around your timings
- 30 minutes/session, but can be longer if needed
