About Farida
Hi, I’m Farida! I’m an incoming Oxford University Law student, and I know first-hand how stressful exams and revision can feel. That’s why I love tutoring — I want to make learning clear, manageable, and even enjoyable for my students. Having achieved top grades at A-level, I understand what exam boards are looking for and how to break down tricky topics into simple, memorable steps. My lessons are always supportive and tailored to the student in front of me, because everyone learns differently. I’m reliable, encouraging, and committed to helping my students grow in both confidence and knowledge. Whether it’s preparing for an upcoming exam or building strong foundations in a subject, I’ll work with you to make sure you feel prepared and capable.

My teaching style is highly tailored to each student. I focus on breaking down complex topics into clear, manageable steps and encouraging students to develop confidence in their own reasoning. I use a mixture of explanations, practice questions, and active discussion to make sure every concept is fully understood — not just memorised. Lessons usually last 60 minutes, though I can adapt to what works best for the student. I often set small, focused tasks to consolidate learning between sessions. I have recently completed my A-levels with top grades and hold an offer to study Law at Oxford, so I understand first-hand how to succeed in essay-based and exam-focused subjects. I specialise in Religious Studies, Philosophy, English, and French, at both GCSE and A-level. My lessons are perfect for students aged 14–18 who want to improve essay writing, refine exam technique, or push themselves towards top grades. I also enjoy supporting motivated younger students who want to get ahead.
