About Arnab
Hello! I'm Arnab, a current Graduate Entry Medicine student at the University of Oxford and a First-Class Biomedical Sciences graduate from University College London (UCL). Over the past five years, I have worked as both a full-time and part-time tutor, accumulating thousands of hours of one-to-one teaching across GCSE, A-Level, university admissions and medical school preparation.
Education has always been something I'm passionate about, and I find it incredibly rewarding to help students build confidence and achieve goals they once thought were out of reach. Whether that's improving exam performance, gaining a deeper understanding of challenging topics, or securing a place at their dream university, I enjoy supporting students throughout their academic journey.
Outside of tutoring, I am actively involved in medical research, with multiple publications in neuroscience and neuro-oncology, alongside my clinical studies at Oxford. My own experiences navigating competitive university admissions and balancing academics with research allow me to provide practical advice and mentorship in addition to subject-specific teaching.
I believe the best learning happens in a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and developing genuine understanding. My aim is not only to help students achieve outstanding results, but also to equip them with the confidence, study techniques and problem-solving skills that will benefit them long after our lessons have finished.

As a current Graduate Entry Medicine student at the University of Oxford and a First-Class Biomedical Sciences graduate from UCL, I combine academic excellence with over five years of tutoring experience and thousands of hours of one-to-one teaching. I specialise in GCSE and A-Level Biology, Chemistry and Mathematics, as well as UCAT preparation, medicine applications and MMI/Oxbridge interview coaching.
Every lesson is tailored to the individual student. I begin by identifying strengths, weaknesses and learning style before creating a structured plan to maximise progress. My teaching focuses on developing genuine understanding rather than memorisation, using exam-style questions, active recall and spaced repetition to build confidence and achieve lasting results.
Whether your goal is improving grades, securing top exam results or earning a place at medical school, I provide personalised support, constructive feedback and clear strategies to help you reach your full potential. I pride myself on being approachable, patient and genuinely invested in every student's success.
