About Alexandra
I am a recent music graduate from the University of Oxford. I have four years of experience as a conductor and vocal coach for both choral music & musical theatre, including as music director for the London premiere of a new musical, and have previously given piano lessons to one young student. I have attained ABRSM Grade 8 in Organ (Merit) and Voice (Distinction) and have been playing organ & piano as an accompanist and church musician since 2011.

As a teacher I like to approach things from a friendly, low-pressure point of view - I think that the less unnecessary stress involved in a lesson, the better! I enjoy using practical examples from a wide range of musical repertoires, both to encourage creative lateral thinking in my pupils and because I feel it's very important to be open-minded when it comes to musical interests.

For day of cancellations I require a payment of £10 (50% of lesson price), but I'm willing to be flexible with this if the cancellation is due to illness or emergency!
