About Elias
I'm an online tutor and student of English Literature and Language at Jesus College Oxford. I'm passionate about literature and teaching it. I have experience doing it for Common Entrance, GCSEs and A-Levels as well as at my current university level. My services aren't just exam focused though, I am able to cover any texts students like (poems, plays, etc.) and can cater to any requests or interests.

Lessons will have a key focus on a particular text, period or exam technique as an example. I will offer expert information about the lesson topic to aid understanding alongside focus on cultivating skills such as close reading, comprehension, essay writing etc. At the heart of every lesson will be the aim to meet the specific student’s needs as laid out beforehand. Working either on long term goals over multiple sessions or on a single goal per session.

A very knowledgeable tutor, with a real understanding of literature and teaching it. He often makes reference to his Oxford literature degree which clearly informs his teaching. He is also extremely friendly and easy going, can't recommend him more.
