About Isla
I am a History and German student at the University of Oxford. I have three A*s at A Level (English Literature, History and German) and got a distinction in my first year exams at university.
I have four months of online tutoring experience teaching GCSE English Literature students who have been adversely affected by school closurses. I've been working with the students over a long period building analytical skills, teaching new content that has been missed due to the pandemic and doing exam practice, as well as building confidence and self-belief and encouraging their individual academic voices and interests.
