About May
I'm May, a 2nd year history student at the University of Oxford. I'm from Edinburgh, so am looking to tutor history in the Scottish system. I have always loved history, and would like to help students to feel the same. Though I'm an early-modernist at heart, I can tutor any topic.

I’m happy to tailor lessons to fit what the student would like to get out of them. In my own experience, I’ve always found learning-by-doing to be the most useful, so I would encourage looking at practice questions together and thinking about how to approach them. I have always found history fun, and appreciate the importance of an engaging teacher. I am Scottish, and am most comfortable tutoring SQA National 5, Higher and Advanced Higher history.
