About Ellie
I'm an experienced teacher with enhanced DBS certificate, who loves to help people enjoy my favourite subject - Chemistry! I have eight years' experience as a teacher of students aged 11-18, and have successfully tutored privately for A Level and GCSE Chemistry.
My students have described my lessons as clear, organised and helpful! Chemistry can be a challenging subject with lots of interlinking ideas - it's my job to help you put all the pieces of the puzzle together, and I'm confident I can help you master it.

My approach makes sure you understand the concepts, building up from the simplest ideas up to the most difficult, with loads of practice along the way. We'll also work together on past paper questions and exam technique to ensure you can apply your knowledge effectively!
Lessons are available for students in Year 9-13 working towards either GCSE or A Level Chemistry. A typical lesson takes place online for an hour.
My first class degree in Chemistry from Oxford University means you can be confident in my subject knowledge, but I am experienced in working with students of all abilities, so if you're feeling uncertain about Chemistry, I can help you love the subject as much as I do!
