I am an Oxford University maths graduate and I am giving lessons in maths from GCSE level to A level standard. My lesson structure will consist of teaching the pupil a basic concept, showing them examples, getting them to try problems and then giving them more challenging questions once they get the hang of it.
I have given large amounts of informal advice to a number of my fellow students throughout GCSEs, A Levels and my undergraduate degree. These have at times become full lessons on specific topics. People who received these longer lessons from me typically achieved much higher grades than they expected, often grades A or A*
I have recently finished my degree in mathematics from the University of Oxford. Throughout my academic career I have exceeded at mathematics having achieved A* grades in A level maths and further maths as well as well as having achieved full marks in many of my exams. As I attended Oxford university I have experience of the Mathematics Admissions Test and can provide lessons helping with that. During my AS levels, I took the world famous STEP exam one year early and achieved a reasonable grade. During my A levels, I often attended "maths clinics" and helped out others in my year who were struggling a bit more with certain aspects of the courses.
