It is my aim to build up the confidence of my students. Some students find it difficult in a class situation to grasp the basics and I know I can help them overcome their problems. Just that bit of extra time and help soon enables them to improve their grades in school and make the difference between a Grade D and a C.

I have taught for many years as a class teacher in secondary schools and also special schools (for children with moderate learning difficulties and also for children with emotional and behavioural problems). During my last years of teaching I worked as a Supply Teacher. I have therefore gained experience in Primary schools as well as in Secondary establishments.
For the last three years I have been a One to One Tutor at Stockport Academy, where I taught Maths GCSE and also at Hazel Grove High School, where I taught both Maths and English at Key Stage 3 and English at Key Stage 4.

My last students attended an Academy in Stockport, where I was on a team of One to One Tutors for Maths GCSE. I also did One to One tuition at two other High Schools in Stockport. The funding for the schools to employ tutors has since ended , which is why I am now advertising for private pupils. My students all gained in confidence and improved their grades.
