I would start with 2 lessons - the first one would be an assessment where I find out where the child stands and I base my lessons from there. My second lesson would be an actual teaching lesson where I assess how well the child responds to my teaching methods, and if they needed any extra help during the lesson. I look at these things and I incorporate these into how quickly I progress my lessons, how my lessons are executed, and if I need to spend time off the clock to aid the child in any way.
