About Rebecca
I am 22 years old and a Durham University graduate with a degree in French and Spanish. Music has been a big part of my life since I was old enough to learn! I first played guitar, then began to teach myself to play the piano which I continued with lessons. I started at Grade 4 (distinction), Grade 5 (pass), and then skipped Grade 6, and earned merit at Grade 7. During this time, I took my Grade 5 Music Theory exam and passed with distinction.
I absolutely love teaching and sharing my passion with others! Please get in touch if you're interested!

I will teach music theory using workbooks and various exercises to help the student engage and understand. My lessons can be anywhere from 30 minutes to 1 hour per session, depending on the needs and desires of each student.
Most of my tutoring experience is in languages, which I have been doing for a couple of years, and I would love to help more people learn music theory!
I can teach anyone willing to learn music theory from total beginner's level up to Grade 5 standard.

Rebecca is patient, kind, and passionate about French. She takes the time to get to know her students and provides tailored support to ensure that they fulfil their potential. Having known her for a few years now, I can recommend her wholeheartedly.
Rebecca taught both my daughters French and we found her to be lovely, knowledgeable, and a great teacher - my daughters got loads out of Rebecca’s well prepared sessions - highly recommended!
Very professional, has work prepared in advance , supportive and works at a pace where you feel you learn. Highly recommended
Rebecca is not only an extremely academically talented individual, but also has an incredibly kind nature - and she truly cares for others. Having worked closely with Rebecca myself, I know first-hand how reliable, enthusiastic and dedicated she is in all she does. Aside from providing a high quality of academic support, Rebecca is also extremely approachable and has a consistently positive attitude. I would absolutely recommend Rebecca as a tutor.
Rebecca is a highly motivated and hard-working young lady, who through her dedication to her own education achieved exceptional grades.
She demonstrates commitment and dedication in all she does. She has excellent communucation skills and is easily able to build relationships with others.
As an educational professional myself, I would highly recommend Rebecca as a tutor.Rebecca is a bright and conscientious individual, who is just as enthusiastic about teaching languages as she is learning them. I have witnessed first-hand the joy Rebecca experiences in helping others, which certainly translates into her teaching. Her excellent verbal and written communication will ensure a positive exchange between herself and her students, both during and outside of teaching time. Rebecca is also very organised and reliable, which not only means that her lessons will be planned thoroughly in advance, but they will also be carried out on time and with an effective structure. Rebecca consistently considers the needs of others and displays great empathy, which will make her ideal when working with students of varying abilities and backgrounds. In addition, she is a great team player, allowing her to work effectively with her students to reach the best possible outcome for their sessions. In the past, Rebecca has helped me with my own work for a university assignment, as well as reading my CV. I definitely valued her insight regarding how my writing flowed and how I could improve. I was very reassured by her help. I have no doubt Rebecca will be nothing but an absolute pleasure to work with, and I am delighted to recommend her highly as a tutor to her future students.
