My teaching methodologies vary from individual to individual. For me it’s about first recognising the inclination of the person, since even art has a number of sub-fields. My primary motive is to understand one’s ability to grasp and learn and accordingly guide them through the tips and tricks to becoming ‘The Artist’. I use methods like graphing and plotting, layered pencil shading, free hand sketching tricks and numerous other methods that aren’t usually taught in your generic art lessons. I have a unique method for each individual and do not base my lessons on mainstream techniques.
I am a professional artist and a trained Bharatanatyam dancer. I am very passionate about art and culture and often find myself doodling whenever I find time. I have held numerous summer camps and training sessions for novice adults as well as tiny lil toddlers. When they were certain they couldn’t even draw a line, I made them paint a masterpiece!
Rakshita is hardworking and has a great sense of visual aesthetic. She’s extremely patient while teaching and always provides a constructive feedback on the work.
A lot of my friends recommended MISS Rakshita for me , in the beginning i was stressed but she was really helpful. I enjoy my lessons with her and learned alot from her. I am really thankful for her and her work, and i would recommended for everyone.
As a person who isn’t artistically blessed, I wanted to venture into the creative side of life and take up painting. Rakshita was absolutely fabulous at tailoring her lessons towards my strengths and weaknesses. She understood that I had some qualms about beginning as I have no background in art, so she began teaching me the basics of drawing, sketching and choosing colours and stood by my side supporting me as I did a messy few first art pieces. I can confidently say that I can now paint and draw basic pieces with confidence and can’t wait for my next lesson!!
Rakshita has been an excellent tutor. She understands the student's behavioural traits and modifies the teaching techniques accordingly. She provides amazing insights to the world of painting. I really enjoyed the painting lessons with her. I will definitely recommend her to my friends who are interested in gaining painting skills.
Rakshita is a congenial person and great with people. She is brilliant at arts as one can see from her many masterpieces. She has a very artistic vision and her teaching methods are commendable.
This is my honest truth: I loved painting with Rakshita for many reasons, some of which I want to mention here. I truly loved her approach to teaching. She's friendly, natural and humble while being an extremely good artist and very stimulating to follow as an instructor. She exudes an "if I can do it, you can do it too" kind of feeling.
As a beginner who picked up painting again after quitting young, the seeming simplicity of Raksita's painting techniques got me hooked and begging for more challenging pieces as we progressed.
Beware - these lessons are addictive and will have you wanting more.
Rakshita is an incredibly talented artist, and more importantly for this platform, someone with a great understanding of pedagogics in the context of the learning curve of students. Her patient and friendly demeanour of instruction is very beneficial and important due to the fact that overly restrictive and demanding teachers with a grim and extra-strict attitude actually dampen the success of their students by hampering their creativity and boxing them in with a stress-inducing approach. Rakshita is able to maximize the potential of her students with her timely and insightful inputs which serve to instruct and improve rather than dishearten her trainees.
Rakshita is comes highly recommended from my personal experience with her as a student, and I experienced drastic progress despite being an absolute beginner. Deciding to train under her is a no-brainer.
I took art lessons from her in person before the lockdowns and I’ve evolved as an artist under her guidance. The best part is that she made me discover skills that even I didn’t know I had. My classes were more like interactive art meetings and I used to look forward to the forthcoming ones.
I would like to take this opportunity to recommend Rakshita to anyone who is planning to learn the painting skills. I was very impressed by not only the efficiency and expertise of the painting sketches, but also her professionalism. I am extremely satisfied with the creativity of her ideas and the work will be in an efficient manner.
Rakshita is passionate and truthful about what she is providing to her students. I feel that she qualifies the checklist of being a good ‘TEACHER’. You won’t feel you are just taking some class but you will be surprised to know that it is more than just a class.
