I believe learning should be fun and hands on. I ensure I cater for different learning styles: visual, auditory and kinaesthetic or hands on. I’ve taught in reception and year 1. In year 1 I’ve prepared pupils for the phonics screening check and delivered it with massive improvement on data achieved.
I will come to your home at your convenience and deliver a fun and interactive learning session. I’m always happy to listen to both pupil and parents. The phonics session will be delivered pacy but effective using many visual resources. There will be songs and actions depending on the age of the pupil. An initial assessment will be done and then each week mini ongoing assessments will be going on. In each session specific learning will take place which will all be documented and discussed with the parents at the end.

Since my son starting having tutoring in phonics I can see he has done improvements, he feels more confident. I like the fact that she is tailoring the lessons to his needs and he enjoys every session mostly the games with phonics and he can’t stop laughing making alien words.
