My passion is Spain and the Spanish language. I lived in Murcia and Almería and having experienced the colloquial language of the region, I love to teach people to converse in southern Spain.

Before moving to Spain at the age of 65 Nicola taught my husband and I for 6 weeks. She was very patient with two pensioners who aren’t the fastest learners! She slowly explained the language fundamentals, including verbs and tenses and this led to group conversation sessions with some scenario based games. Muy Bien Nicola, muchas gracias!! For full disclosure I will say that Nicola is a family member. However, I was a total novice in the Spanish language and keen to learn as much as possible before the first of many long trips to Spain. Nicola’s approach and method can be equall applied to a total novice or someone with a rudimentary understanding of the language. With her patient and bespoke methods Nicola makes it very easy to make big advances very quickly. Nicola also has great understanding of regional dialects, the importance of which was something I hadn’t considered, but is absolutely invaluable. I can absolutely say that Nicola is a very trustworthy tutor.
