About Matt
Helping children break down barriers and build up their knowledge, skills, understanding and confidence is just awesome for me! I love to bring a sense of fun to my lessons and strive to make them as engaging as possible. Children often have to grow up so quickly and I don't want them to lose out on being a kid when I'm teaching them. The more a child has a smile on their face, the more likely they are to absorb their learning and cement their understanding.
I began my teacher training in a Year Two class and have am currently in my third consecutive year teaching in Year Three but have a range of experience across all years in primary schools.
Outside of my work, I am happily married and my wife and I are currently navigating our way through parenthood having welcomed our daughter into the world just over a year ago. Life hasn't quite been the same since but I wouldn't change it for the world!
