About Rebecca
The year I taught in China was truly one of the most rewarding and inspiring experiences of my life where I learned a lot about myself, my students, and the world we live in. I am incredibly lucky to have grown up with English as my mother tongue and through my travels around Asia and beyond, I realized how important it is for me to share my gift of the English language. It breeds opportunities in all facets of life and it was an honor to be able to teach it. I can't wait to continue to do so and inspire my students in the classroom and beyond :)

For me, teaching is all about my students' interest. I truly believe that if the subject matter engages them on a personal level, they will look forward to coming to class to learn. My lessons are based on interactive activities, where I create exercises that are challenging, fun, and encouraging.
I have experience with students ranging from 2-16 years old and welcome all levels to my classroom. My lessons are all about flow! To ensure students are present and free from daily stress, a warm up game or conversation is most necessary. We then move to the main subject matter, often introduced with drawing or fill in the blanks and continue to refine the focus of the lesson with the creative activities mentioned above.
With my younger students, I often like to give them "stars" at the end of the class, based on their behavior and focus throughout the lesson.
