About Hayley
Hi, I’m Hayley!
I teach as I have a passion to help students of all abilities achieve and unlock their hidden maths potential.
Why should you hire me?
I have a track record of success and delivering results through private tutoring and at classroom level. I have significant, long-term experience at levels from Key Stage 2, all the way through to A-Level and have enabled students to maximise their outcomes at all of these assessment levels. I have taught in both primary and secondary schools throughout the country and am therefore skilled at teaching students from all walks of life.
I want all students to have the opportunity to achieve and I have professionally developed to be better placed to deliver high quality education to those with additional needs – I am a qualified SENCo and am a Level 2 qualified BSL speaker.
I strongly believe that people learn better when they are comfortable, content, relaxed and happy. My teaching style, as in life, is caring and patient, something that I believe my previous students would attest to.
I aim to make my sessions interactive and engaging and have gathered a wide range of resources throughout my varied career to allow me to do this.
For those that are looking for a tutor for someone they care for, I have a number of tips that I am keen to share with those parents and carers to extend the learning outside of the tutorial.
