My teaching method is based on identifying the needs of the individual student and tailoring the classes to them. I take care to listen to my students and focus on teaching them general skills which they will then be able to use and apply themselves in the future.
I am an English student at the University of Bristol. I have some experience in education, both informal - at youth groups and on school trips - and formal - at Sunday school and homework clubs. I am passionate about English and would like to combine my studies with my love of teaching.

Work Experience: I have been a youth leader for three years, teaching my groups in a more informal context. In a similar vein, I have been involved in leading school trips. I volunteered for Britsom, a homework club for children of Somalian refugees, whose parents cannot speak English. This gave me skills which help me work with and communicate with children of varying ability, from different backgrounds. I taught in a more formal environment at a Sunday school.
