About Dara
I discovered my love for French during a study program abroad, captivated by the language’s rhythm, logic, and cultural depth. Over the past nine years, I’ve taught students of all levels, helping them gain not just fluency, but appreciation and confidence in using French. My teaching is student-centered, combining structure with creativity. I use conversation, media, and cultural references to make learning interactive and engaging. I emphasize practical application and emotional connection, ensuring that students gain both competence and confidence. Outside teaching, I stay connected to French culture through literature, cinema, and travel. Teaching French allows me to share a passion for language and culture, helping students discover not only the mechanics of the language but its beauty, humor, and humanity.
