About Thycha
I am a well-qualified English teacher with lots of teaching experience in all ages of learners, from grade 1 up to grade 11. I am a passionate, trustworthy, kind, patient, dedicated and friendly person who wants to create a relaxed and friendly atmosphere in which my learners can grow to their fullest potential. I have a B.A. Degree (English was one of my main subjects), an HED *Cum Laude (Higher Educational Diploma to teach) as well as a B.A. Honours Degree, *Cum Laude. I have a passion for children of all ages, but specifically for smaller kids.

I believe it is crucial to make the learners comfortable so that they can relax first and feel at ease, trusting me and the process. I create a friendly, relaxed atmosphere and learning environment for my learners. It is important to also have lots of fun interwoven/integrated throughout the learning process! My teaching methodology is extremely logical and chronological, regarding the order of explanations, discussions and learning material. I also love to summarize throughout making the learners seeing things in greater perspective. II explain vividly and also use lots of pictures, gestures with my face and body as well as humor to make them laugh! It is of the utmost importance that my learners SHOULD ENJOY the learning process of a new language! Although I try to be very professional and objective, I am also very patient and kind throughout.
