About Gwyneth

Hi, I am a recently retired Art teacher with over 25 years experience teaching art at GCSE and A Level. As I’m going o to becoMe a GCSE moderator next year I want to continue teaching art as it is one of my life’s passions.
I’ve been told I have a bright cheerful outlook to life, enjoy the company of Young People as they have enthusiasm for life! My approach to life is one of optimism, love of the arts, with brightly coloured hair and dress sense, always happy with a great sense of humour
! My motto is, ‘Always Look on the Bright Side of Life….’ There’s a Brightly coloured Rainbow waiting for You, let’sCatch It!

About the lesson

I have a Bright Cheery approach to teaching, looking at what inspires you to create yet following your schools criteria.

Ifeel it is imperative we have an excellent working relationship, this will bring out the best in you, your development as an art student and possible artist
We will experiment with a variety of drawing and painting techniques, use a variety of media along the way, this will gain marks within the four assessment criteria. We will be building a visual journey which will allow you to develop important skills for the future. It will be fun as well as hard work but together anything is possible

I worked with Gwyneth for five fabulous years achieving great success in her field. To say she is an excellent teacher doesn’t do her justice.
Gwyneth's knowledge, willing to support, teach any skill needed and just simply goes above and beyond for any student is exceptional. Any student would be truely blessed and will succeed under her nurturing and impeccable guidance.
Gwyneth is multi-talented and a joy to work with.

Gwyneth taught me A level art as a mature student, I could write an essay on why I would recommend her, but if you are looking for someone who is passionate for teaching, is incredibly creative and knowledgeable, and is able to teach you some incredible skills and techniques to achieve the grade then I wouldn’t look any further… I achieved my A!!
