During any session I will identify the problems the student currently has and find relevant questions (past paper or otherwise) to help explain, and eventually, overcome the problem. I primarily will use questions and past papers but am open to any techniques the student believes may be helpful. I am also capable of discussing and improving the student's revision techniques, by explaining methods I used (and others of similar abilities) and why.
I am a current university maths student with experience helping younger children as a classroom assistant, both in primary and secondary. I have achieved A* grades in all maths qualifications (including further maths) before going on to the University of Warwick, and am therefore confident in my ability to tutor A level students because of this. I also have cousins currently doing their A levels, so my understanding of the syllabus and exam expectations is up to date.

I achieved a 65% average in the first year, with modules selected from multiple fields within and outside of pure mathematics including probability theory, classical mechanics and experimental mathematics. I believe the knowledge gained from these modules has real-world applications and demonstrates my broad range of academic interests, as well as ability.
In both my first and second years, I have taken on more than the minimum number of modules required by my course. I am passionate about the learning more and am willing to put in extra hours to do so.
During my GCSEs and A levels I completed both the Duke of Edinburgh Bronze and Gold awards, respectively. For the Bronze award I volunteered once a week at Chapel End afterschool club (my former primary school) for 6 months. Here I helped organize, and sometimes participate in, activities for the children, while also managing their well-being. I built upon these skills in my Gold award, where I was a classroom assistant for a Year 8 mathematics class, in which I helped students with their problem solving and any issues with their understanding of the topics covered.
I have known Hiten for 10 years and he has always had a passion and love for Maths. Whenever I was struggling with anything Maths related I could always rely on him to help. He is knowledgeable, friendly and great at explaining things in a concise and understandable approach that will enable people to improve.
I have known Hiten for a long time, meeting him whilst still in secondary school. He is incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and logical. Currently studying Maths at Warwick, he commands a vast amount of insight which is more than required to tutor A level and GCSE Maths topics. He is a very patient person, who will gladly sit and work through any potential issues which may stump a pupil. He has a real talent for explaining things. Would happily have him as my tutor!
